Hi, I am Nicolas Viezzer,

I am 25 years old, and I graduated with honors in Control Systems Engineering.

Thanks to my diploma in Electronics and Electrical Engineering and to the companies where I worked (as an intern or as an employee), I gained good experience in the creation of projects based on electronic boards. Furthermore, thanks to the 5 years of University in Padua, this technical expertise was integrated with a solid theoretical background. In particular, during the Bachelor's degree in Information Engineering, I learned many concepts belonging to the different sectors of Information Engineering, including automation, electronics, computer science and telecommunications.

During the Master's degree in Control Systems Engineering, I specialized in the field of automation, in particular in the design of control systems for processes of various kinds. Furthermore, in the second year I spent a semester studying abroad at the Polytechnic University of Valencia, where I worked mostly on the design of industrial control systems and the programming of robotic arms.

Thanks to this period of study abroad, I was able to learn a different approach to the subject and thanks to the courses studied there, together with the basics acquired in Padua, I was able to begin the study that then led to the design of the AC controller. I adopted a first version of the controller in my thesis project, namely the control of a drone (for which I entirely created the Flight Controller).

I founded SCA CONTROL with the aim of helping companies improve the control of their industrial processes. This will be possible thank to the advantages of AC controller with respect to PID controller, widely used today in the industrial and non-industrial sectors, and to a framework for configuration and supervision which adapts to any user's skill level (basic, intermediate, advanced).

Looking more long-term, the main goal is to help companies in the upcoming transition to Industry 5.0. In particular, with this new Industry, in addition to the pillars of the current Industry 4.0 such as IoT and AI, significant concepts such as the centrality of man in control systems ("people-centricity"), a further personalization of products and services based on customer needs ("customization"), and a greater global awareness of sustainability ("sustainability") will assert themselves.
